The Bont Vaypor S shoes are comfortable enough for long days in the saddle, with stiffness in a sole that sprinters are happy to use.
The Vaypor Sprint, Bont’s flagship road shoe, just got lighter, stronger and faster. Utilizing Bont’s tried and tested head-moldable chassis, the Vaypor Sprint delivers optimal levels of rigidity and power transfer, which has made them the choice of some of cycling’s best-known professionals. This chassis is 100% carbon fibre and thanks to its monocoque it’s able to be moulded into the perfect fit for your foot. Bont has refined this aspect of their premium shoes and new levels of comfort are now able to be achieved thanks also to the chassis design, which cups your heel for a more natural fit.
This sole is a 3-hole Look configuration, with a measurement grid to aid in cleat placement. The innersole is also thermo-moldable EVA to further enhance the customization of these shoes and adding to the comfort factor is the Duralite upper and suede leather liner, which wrap snugly around your foot and act as a welcome counter to the rigidity of the Vaypor Sprint’s sole. Durolite has been developed and chosen for the Vaypor S upper and liner for its extremely durable nature and light weight.
Designed for speed and comfort, the Vaypor S has venting in the front for the warmer months, while a dual-boa closure system is easy to use and keeps your foot secure, without unwelcome hot spots on your feet. At a scant 230g each (in a size 42), they’re light enough for the most discerning weight-weenie, whilst retaining the kind of power transfer that a sprinter looks for.
Bont adds structural medial longitudinal arch support in all of their models to prevent over pronation. Bont believes that over pronation is a big cause of knee injuries as the incorrect tracking of knees while in the riding position can cause rotation of the tibia and femur. This can also cause the pelvis to tilt, resulting in lower back strain. By adding extra support in this key area, they make shoes that allow you to perform longer, with less risk of injury. They also offer a unique foot shape on their shoes, which allows more breathing room for your forefoot and toes; Bont aim to reduce ‘hot spots’ so your foot functions in the most efficient and anatomically correct position. This technology allows your pedaling force to spread across a greater surface area, creating better impact and fantastic performance.
Bont’s cycling shoes are the most heat moldable shoes available. Bont’s proprietary resin has been developed and perfected over 36 years to be an extremely stiff resin that becomes pliable at relatively low temperatures. Unlike other shoes which are moldable only in select locations, all Bont cycling shoes are able to be molded over the entire chasis providing cyclists not only with the most anatomically designed cycling shoe on the market today, but also with the ability to fine tune the fit of the entire shoe to give a customised fit.

Size Guide
To find your size, place a piece of paper on a flat surface and place it directly up against a wall. Stand on the paper and ensure you have a 1mm gap between your heel and the wall. Plant your foot firmly on the ground and slowly roll your weight forward and onto the forefoot. For the most effective longest toe measurement, your heel should lift off the ground slight. Look down and take the measurement from the wall edge of the paper to your longest toe. Record the length. With your foot still in place, mark the widest points of the inner and outer edges of your feet. Measure the width across the widest part of your foot and record the number in millimeters. Repeat this step for both feet.
Once the measurements have been taken, use the Foot Length Range on the size chart to find your size. The Last Length measurements shown on the chart are the exact length of the last that we use to build the shoes. This correlates to the precise internal measurement of the shoe.
Following selection of your size in EU or USA, move downward to select the most appropriate width. We recommend adding 1mm to find the most appropriate width. For example, you are looking at a Vaypor S and have determined your best shoe size is 45 and your feet measure 105mm (left) and 107mm (right) wide, with an additional 1mm added, you would still fit within the Standard Range. If your feet measure wide than 109/110mm (size 45/10.5) you should consider Wide fit.
